Spring 2020 Intramural Leagues Have Been Canceled

In order to protect the health, wellness, and safety of our faculty, staff, and students, the department of Campus Recreation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center has made the decision to suspend all Campus Recreation functions that have been scheduled to take place now through April 30, 2020. This means that all leagues, tournaments, and rentals scheduled through April 30 at the Center for Healthy Living or with equipment from the Center for Healthy Living have been canceled, effective immediately. This decision has been as part of a campus-wide effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of our campus community.

All intramural team captains will be entitled to a prorated refund of their team’s registration fee. Captains, you may contact me by email at alec.carstens@unmc.edu with any questions that you and your teammates might have.

At this time, the Center for Healthy Living will remain open during its regular hours, and all fitness classes will proceed as scheduled. As a precaution, we have added additional wipe dispensers in the locker rooms, and we are urging all members to practice good hygiene while at the gym.
